Responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of Nursing Services for residents in accordance with current federal, state and local guidelines and regulations that govern the facility and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing Services to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. 3.Assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of the Infection Control Program to include policy development, surveillance, tracking, trending and reporting outbreaks and other communicable diseases to public health and other regulatory agencies as required 4.Assist in recruitment, selection, and placement of qualified personnel.
