The role aids Metrology Technicians with measurements and setup of calibration procedures, identifies the magnitude of error sources contributing to uncertainty of results to determine the reliability of the measurement process in quantitative terms, and prepares calibration reports containing methods, measured data, measurement uncertainties, and NIST traceabilities. Our client is seeking an Associate Metrology Technician who performs measurements on calibration instruments that measure characteristics of objects, substances, or phenomena, such as pressure, temperature, time, rotational motion, flow, electric current, voltage, resistance, and derived units of physical or chemical measures.
