The hospitality enterprise includes the Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center (the four star/four diamond 254 guest room hotel, with more than 25,000 square feet of meeting space, and a full-service restaurant on-site), the Lake Arrowhead Lodge and UCLA Bruin Woods Family Resort (a variety of accommodations including single rooms, condolets, full chalets, and single family homes accommodating up to 400 people daily during peak season and up to 200 guests during the lodge and conference season), the Inn at UCLA (61-room boutique hotel); UCLA Conference Services; UCLA Catering; UCLA Vending (serving more than 300 campus locations and managing the UCLA Coffee Service), and the UCLA University Club (provides meeting and dining space to membership made up of faculty, staff, and administration). The AVC H&H ensures the long-term financial viability of the enterprise, develops policy and is responsible for directing and controlling activities for the following functional areas: on-campus student housing and residential dining services (over 15,000 student residents and 7 million meals annually); university apartments (10,000 residents in over 5,000 off-campus apartments at 30 separate locations); faculty housing (197 apartments, condos, and single family homes for faculty and staff families located off campus), and a large hospitality enterprise.
