The position partners closely with Budget and Finance stakeholders, Budget and Resource Planning, Financial Strategic Services, the Controller’s Office, the Workday sustainment team, and the broader university community to identify reporting gaps, clarify business requirements, improve reporting processes, and deliver tools that help users understand financial activity, budget position, resource commitments, and business process outcomes. The Report Developer understands how financial information is used by central finance teams, academic and administrative units, and university leaders, and translates those needs into reporting solutions that are accurate, usable, secure, and aligned with OSU’s evolving budget and finance processes.
