The impact you'll make in this role As a Machinist, you'll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment. This role works 2nd shift (Mon - Fri; 3:30pm - 11:30 pm) and includes starting pay of $31.17/hour plus shift $1.25 shift differential. *This role begins with training on 1st shift and transitions to 2nd shift once training is complete (estimated 3 - 6 months). Responsibilities include but not limited to: <ul><li>Setting up and operating machining lathes to produce Stethoscope chest pieces. </li><li>Performing adjustments, tool changes, and preventive maintenance to ensure proper operation. </li><li>Performing all required sampling, testing, and inspection to meet product requirements. </li><li>Gathering and monitoring data on the process to ensure process control. </li><li>Training and assisting department operators with running the lathes and inspecting chest pieces. </li><li>Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts. </li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience operating CNC machines. </li><li>Possess a technical degree or higher in Tool & Die Technology OR Possess a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of five (5) years of experience working with Tool & Die. </li></ul> Work Location: Onsite - 5400 Paris Rd, Columbia, MO 65202 Travel: Not required for this position Relocation Assistance: Not authorized Legal & Compliance Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
