Responsibilities** Essential functions will include: + **Install, maintain, and repair** outside telecommunications infrastructure, including: + **Underground and aerial copper/fiber cabling** + **Backbone and distribution systems** + Conduits, vaults, ducts, and pedestals + Perform: + **Fiber and copper splicing** (fusion and mechanical) + **OTDR and power meter testing** + Fault isolation and emergency restoration + Termination of cables in manholes, handholes, and wiring closets + Conduct: + Routine **inspections** and **preventive maintenance** + Documentation of cabling routes, splicing records, and test results + Safety hazard assessments for all work zones + Collaborate with engineers, ISP technicians, and site leadership for infrastructure upgrades and repairs.
