How your work would contribute to the Twin Cities Region: The Senior Business Continuity Specialist will provide senior-level expertise to the Metropolitan Council (MC) enterprise in ALL facets of business continuity work… including, but not limited to, execution and maintenance of the MC enterprise business impact analysis (BIA) data; continuity of operations plan development and continuous improvement/evolution (for ALL enterprise services, support services, and technologies); preparation and execution of tabletop and live simulation crisis exercises (including crisis communication capabilities); administration and oversight of all BC software/tools; development, delivery/training, and continuous improvement of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command Structure (ICS) training modules; coordination, collaboration, and interaction with ALL levels of the Met Council organization, specific to business continuity and enterprise risk; continuous awareness and maintenance of Met Council-specific regulatory requirements and expectations specific to business continuity, disaster recovery, and cyber security; and continuous awareness and incorporation of evolving industry best-practices into the Met Councils business continuity processes, practices, and work.
