Working collaboratively with four fellowship-trained MIGS surgeons, the PA assists in the operating room, manages perioperative care, rounds on hospitalized postoperative patients, and supports continuity of care across the surgical episode. The PA may also perform preoperative evaluations, see patients in the clinic, enter and manage preoperative and postoperative orders, conduct inpatient postoperative rounds, assist with discharge planning, and provide outpatient consultation and follow-up care.
