A key responsibility of this position is to bridge the gap between VA business operations, legacy systems, and the technical implementation team, ensuring that institutional knowledge, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes, business rules, and integration requirements are effectively translated into the modernized solution. The Software Development Manager will collaborate with program technical leads, solution architects, and VA stakeholders to help shape the technical direction of the solution, support the adoption of SaaS and AI-enabled capabilities, and serve as a client-facing technical representative.
