Collaborate with the Financial Aid team whereby provide student support related to the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), aid counseling, documentation requests, navigating the loan default process, satisfactory academic progress, and all other applicable requests from the AU Financial Aid team. Support students by assisting them in addressing issues and communications related to student access, i.e. end-user device is non-functional, out to court, transferred to a non-AU facility, lack of technological access, total lockdown at the facility, unexpected release.
Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the diverse objectives and functions of the subunits in the division/department in order to direct and coordinate work within the division/department, usually interpreted to require three to five years of related experience. The coordinator collaborates with department chairpersons, faculty, administration and PK-12 partners to provide teacher education students with a range of meaningful field experiences throughout the professional education unit.
This position plays a key role in supporting the Program Director and Residency Program Administrator in maintaining program quality, ensuring accreditation compliance, and coordinating daily activities across multiple training sites. Minimum five (5) years of effective classroom co-teaching experience; three (3) or more years of recent classroom experience providing instruction in special education or providing educational services to students with disabilities in a general education setting.
