ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1.Coaches and teaches the game of eSports2.Schedules and runs organized practices3.Works alongside the Athletic Director to schedule games4.Hires an assistant coach that has knowledge of the game and is responsible for duties as assigned by the head coach5.Recruits student athletes from Clark, Champaign, Greene and Logan counties as well as surrounding counties and the state of Ohio6.Maintains knowledge of the governing bylaws, constitution and rules of the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference, OCCAC and the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association, NJCAAE7.Manages the travel, supply, scholarship and equipment budget8.Conducts fundraising activities, community service, camps and clinics for the eSports team9.Transports team to away games using college vans10.Provides student athletes assistance for moving on to the next level of competition and/or education11.All other duties assigned by supervisor. Additionally, this individual will work with the Athletic Director to continually assess and elevate the program's status in the areas of academics, recruiting, budget, tracking, and reporting, equipment ordering, marketing, public relations, departmental compliance and facility management.
