Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of Intensive Care Unit experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, invasive line management, intravenous medication titration, ventilator, tracheostomy, high-flow, and bilevel positive airway pressure management; competency with strong peripheral intravenous access is preferred; telemetry competency must be completed and passed before the assignment begins. Patient populations may include sepsis, pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, substance-related conditions, psychiatric conditions, stable strokes, traumatic brain injuries, post-catheterization patients, pacemaker patients, vascular surgery patients, orthopedic patients, and general surgery patients.
