Must have comprehensive knowledge of duties concerned with concepts, supervision, and management of facility administration in the planning, design, and construction of major structures and facilities with expertise in space utilization, building environmental systems, fire and security systems, masonry and reinforced concrete construction, roofing systems, energy management, and pavement construction and ability to determine deficiencies and prepare packages for unusual or new construction and repair. Must have knowledge and understanding of planning, programming, real property administration, and master planning concepts and procedures; knowledge of architectural design and building construction, including site evaluation, building design, construction documents and building construction methods and details; knowledge of engineering principles and ability to prepare accurate project cost estimates.
