Reporting to the Director of Alumni and Constituent Relations, the Assistant Director, Alumni Relations, Boards and Events serves as a member of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) Advancement team and coordinates volunteer board engagement and alumni programs that strengthen relationships with CALS and Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) alumni, constituents, volunteers, donors, and friends. The position manages the operations of the CALS Alumni Organization and its committees; provides guidance and administrative support to CALS departmental advisory boards; and plans and executes local, regional, virtual, and signature events designed to engage constituents, identify prospective donors, and steward existing supporters.
