Position Function: To provide specialized nursing and technical support for veterinary oncology patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and supportive care procedures; supervise/teach students in the practice of veterinary oncology; maintain oncology equipment and treatment records; and assist clinicians in delivering comprehensive oncology care. Working knowledge of oncology nursing care, chemotherapy administration and safety procedures, patient restraint, venipuncture, catheter placement, sedation, anesthesia monitoring, and supportive care techniques.
