High School Diploma or GED required Completion of a trade school program in electrical systems or possession of a Journeyman Electrician card preferred Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. The work is typically performed in an office, library, computer room, stockroom, warehouse, or outdoors, where the employee may be exposed to noise, dust, dirt, grease, machinery with moving parts, contagious or infectious diseases, irritating chemicals, and cold or inclement weather.
