Dutchman Hospitality Group is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our corporate finance team. This is a full-time role with opportunity to grow, working closely with our Accounting Supervisor and gaining hands on experience across core accounting functions. What You’ll Do:• Support month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations• Prepare reports that help leaders make informed decisions• Support Accounts Payable• Assist with Bi-weekly payroll• Help document and streamline team processes• Other duties as requested Desired Qualifications:• Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate skill level in Excel• Knowledge of Sage software a plus• Knowledge of Paycor a plus• Strong organizational skills• Strong verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills• Able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment Education and Experience:<ol><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate skill level in Excel</li><li>Knowledge of Sage software a plus</li><li> Knowledge of Paycor a plus</li><li> Strong organizational skills </li><li>Strong verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment</li><li>Position requires sitting for extended periods of time</li><li>2+ years’ experience working in Accounts Payable & General Ledger preferred</li></ol> Physical Requirements:· Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
