Knowledge: Broad knowledge of the marketplace and manufacturing technologies; In depth knowledge of supplier qualification processes and supplier performance metrics; Knowledge of the latest quality science tools including, FMEA, GR&R, Control plans, Capability study and reduction of variations; Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models; Exposure to lean concepts (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Leadership, 5S, etc); Knows and applies advanced concepts, practices and procedures of assigned product or program; Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
