PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide support to the adult, children, youth and family units, social workers, nurses, and management staff, thereby leading to a higher level of service delivery to clients, more effective utilization of staff, a greater degree of compliance with rules and regulations, and more timely responsiveness to agency management, clients, and the community at large. Coordinates with Eligibility Workers and Supervisors from Cass, Hubbard and Wadena counties to determine if fraud or program violations were committed, investigates allegations of public assistance fraud according to the FPI program guidelines which includes collecting evidence and returning their findings to the eligibility worker in timely manner to assess for possible overpayments and/or savings.
