Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field 5-8 years of proven experience in software engineering with demonstrated depth in Linux systems and software development Experience leading or mentoring junior engineers, conducting design reviews, and driving software quality initiatives Experience with machine learning or AI-assisted tooling is a plus Familiarity with avionics, aerospace, or embedded systems environments is a plus OTHER REQUIREMENTS May require travel up to 5% of the time to domestic and/or international locations. Proficiency in C/C++ preferred, or proficiency in other common programming language with C/C++ experience Software design, architecture, and object-oriented principles Git and modern source-control practices (GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews) Software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including Agile / Scrum methodologies Linux command-line tools, scripting, and system administration and automation.
