Support the negotiation, processing, and tracking of non-disclosure agreements and other routine commercial agreementsMaintain the company's contract management system and ensure timely execution and storage of executed documentsCoordinate with internal stakeholders (engineering, finance, business development) on contract requirements and obligationsConduct legal research on space law, regulatory developments, and policy matters relevant to the company's operationsPrepare summaries, briefing memos, and presentations for senior leadership and legal team reviewDraft, proofread, and edit legal correspondence, agreements, and internal communicationsTrack and monitor compliance obligations, including FAR/DFARS, ITAR, EAR, and other regulatory frameworks applicable to commercial space activitiesMonitor filing deadlines and coordinate with registered company officials to remain in compliance with U.S. government regulationsMaintain and organize corporate records and filingsTrack and manage renewal deadlines for insurance policies, government registrations, licenses, permits, and key commercial agreements, ensuring timely renewals and escalating to Senior Legal Counsel as neededManage internal client intake for the legal department, including triaging requests and maintaining matter trackingCoordinate internal management of supply chain management requests directed to the legal teamManage outside counsel relationships, invoice review, and legal billingRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree requiredMinimum 2 years of experience in a legal assistant, paralegal, or legal operations role, ideally in an in-house legal department or law firm in the aerospace, defense, government contracts, or technology sectorsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneouslyExcellent written communication skills, including drafting, proofreading, and editingProficiency with contract lifecycle management systems and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain strict confidentialityFamiliarity with ITAR, EAR, or similar export control and national security compliance frameworks preferredWhat Makes You Stand Out!
