When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity). Quality, age specific, and culturally sensitive care is provided by the Licensed Practical Nurse who implements interventions to ensure that patient/family needs are addressed including physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs.
