Systems and Controls: • Responsible for adherence to all governmental reporting and regulations and maintenance of sound control processes to protect company assets and advise Management of needed actions • Initiates and controls efforts and procedures to maintain data integrity • Identifies key and/or recurring issues, including systems set up and other issues, and assists in resolution through working with vendors on configuration, training and/or policy and procedural solutions • Review and analyze current payroll and benefits administration processes and tax procedures and recommend changes to Company policies resulting in best practices • Approves workflows for direct deposit and W-4 changes in HRIS • Managing Workforce Management system, assisting managers with issues with the system, resolving problems, reviewing overtime hours, multiple pay rates, inappropriate classifications, and supervisory signoffs • Administering and processing all payroll changes for new hires, terminated employees, and employees receiving promotions, demotions or raises, through the system based on supervisor approval and plan guidelines • Direct oversight and preparation of various payroll reports, such as: G/L reports, earnings reports, hours, and earnings per month for various departments, as well as sending departments various payroll data reports upon request • Maintaining personnel files as they relate to payroll • Identify problems and compliance issues and coordinate implementation of corrections with internal team members • Regularly auditing our payroll files to ensure the accuracy of employees' records • Responsible for compiling accurate and timely data for annual payroll and other audits • Providing customer service to all staff members regarding payroll daily • Advising managers and staff members as to the appropriate policies and procedures regarding compensation • Provide initial and ongoing training for management on time management system.
