Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, payroll calculations, and payment processing; Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements; Manage payroll system upgrades and changes, working closely with IT and software vendors; Prepare and analyze payroll reports, including labor costs, overtime, and deductions; Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy; Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate employee records and benefit deductions; Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, and tax withholdings; Conduct audits of payroll and related records to ensure compliance and accuracy; Stay current with industry trends, legislation, and best practices related to payroll management; Train and mentor payroll staff to enhance their skills and improve team performance. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field; Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or in a similar role (typically 5+ years); Strong knowledge of payroll software (e.g.,Workday, ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Excel; Familiarity with federal and state payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance; Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization; Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
