p>Job Responsibilities: Assist with payroll processing and serve as backup for full-cycle payroll Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee data and compensation changes Maintain payroll records and timekeeping compliance Support open enrollment and day-to-day benefit administration Answer employee questions related to pay, time off, and benefits Maintain relationships with benefits vendors, reconcile and pay benefits invoices Coordinate with insurance providers on enrollments, terminations, and claims Schedule interviews and assist with applicant tracking Support new hire onboarding including paperwork, orientations, and I-9 compliance Maintain accurate and organized electronic employee files Respond to employee inquiries and route to appropriate HR team members Assist with ongoing HR projects and compliance initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous payroll experience in an automotive dealership setting is highly preferred Familiarity with QuickBooks Online (QB), Restaurant365 (R365), and/or Reynolds and Reynolds Experience with Employee Navigator and Bamboo HR preferred Accounting knowledge or prior accounting-related responsibilities 2+ years of experience in payroll, benefits, or HR support Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Strong number sense and ability to reconcile statements Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
