What You'll DoPayroll ResponsibilitiesProcess weekly payroll by compiling, calculating, and entering data accurately and timelyMaintain payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and tax informationTrack leave, non-taxable wages, and earnings recordsGenerate payroll reports and assist with audits as neededIssue paychecks and resolve discrepanciesAbility to use Excel and manipulate spreadsheets confidentlyHuman Resources SupportMaintain and update employee records (personal data, benefits, compensation)Support recruiting and onboarding activitiesEnsure new hire paperwork is complete and compliantTrack PTO and vacation accrualsAssist with benefits administration, including open enrollmentManage workers' compensation records and reportingServe as a resource for employee HR-related questionsWhat We're Looking For2–3 years of payroll experience with HR exposureStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and functions required)Familiarity with payroll systems (UKG/UltiPro preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills - able create a schedule that works for timely payroll submissionHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail – demonstrate the ability to respect established procedures but be able to use critical and forward thinking to identify opportunities to improve processesAbility to handle confidential information with professionalismExperience working in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment is a plusLanguage SkillsBilingual in English and Spanish is a plusEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredAdditional HR/payroll training or experience preferredEquivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredWhy This Role MattersThis position reports directly to the HR Manager but supports both our employees and operations-ensuring people are paid accurately, supported effectively, and set up for success.
