The 163rd Street Improvement Council empowers individuals and families including veterans, the formerly incarcerated, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those with physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges by providing housing and connecting them to the resources, support, and opportunities needed to transition from homelessness to stable, healthy, and fulfilling lives. • Performs minor repairs and touch-ups as necessary, i.e., hanging pictures/bulletin boards, painting, plastering, light fixture replacement, cylinder change, faucet repair (washers, etc.), stripping floors and re-waxing, and other assignments as directed by the supervisor.
