About the role We are looking for an employee with exceptional interpersonal communication skills and have the ability to create a favorable impression for the organization to all staff, patients and the public. Must have a strong sense of team commitment, which includes meeting deadlines, punctuality and excellent follow-through. You will be responsible for scheduling patients for diagnostic testing in an efficient and timely manner. Supervision Received: Reports to Manager of Diagnostics Supervision Exercised: None. Typical Physical Demands: Work requires sitting for long periods of time; some stooping, bending and stretching may be required. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, type 60-wpm, telephone, copier, fax machine and such other office equipment as necessary. Vision must be correctable to 20/20 and hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts. It is necessary to view and type on computer screens for long periods and to work in an environment which can be very stressful. Typical Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office environment. Involves constant telephone contact with patients and other medical offices.
