Required to float to all PCU/Telemetry units within scope of practice, potentially working a different unit each shift, with rare floats to ICU for lower acuity holds or ER for boarders. Common diagnoses include stroke rule-out, chest pain, arrhythmias, abdominal pain, post-surgical care, altered mental status, dehydration, AKI, CHF, GI hemorrhage, and sepsis.
