Perform ultrasound examination in accordance with departmental protocols while utilizing critical thinking skills and independent judgment to ensure that appropriate anatomical, pathological and clinical conditions are accurately captured. The Sonographer is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, maintaining patient workflow, technical aspects of equipment maintenance, and quality assessment (QA).
