Specific duties will include but are not limited to managing projects, developing and administering contracts for habitat management, planning and implementing prescribed fire, planning restoration activities, assisting, coordination, and management of TNC interns, fire staff, and volunteers, monitoring conservation easements and fee lands, general preserve maintenance, and public outreach. The Southeast Coastal Plain Land Steward provides technical leadership and support to a business unit and plans and directs and assists preserve management programs and stewardship of TNC land interests in the coastal plain of NC.
