Examines, evaluates, assesses, tests, and treats patients for infectious and STI-related diseases, and provides counseling, education, and information on safe sex practices and disease prevention; Provides family planning advice and counseling to clients based on their reproduction intentions, contraceptive preferences, and medical eligibility, and dispenses contraception as appropriate including, but not limited to device/implant placement and removal, and emergency contraception; Administers screening and diagnostic tests on patients for infectious and communicable diseases such as Covid-19 and monkeypox, interprets the results and educates on treatment and prevention of diseases; Records clients’ health history, diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication in electronic health records; Assists with development of clinical protocols, policies and procedures, and the implementation, evaluation, and quality assurance of the same; Evaluates the efficacy of medications and treatments. Minimum one (1) year experience providing reproductive healthcare services to male and female clients from adolescence through adulthood, including the delivery of birth control methods such as IUDs and implants, conducting sexual health screenings and evaluations, and providing treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
