<div>Student Information Systems (SIS) Data Manager Miami Dade College - Kendall Campus Miami Dade College, through the Florida Charter Institute, is seeking a highly skilled Student Information Systems (SIS) Data Manager to lead the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of student data for K-12 charter schools authorized by colleges across Florida. This is a mission-critical role for a data professional who thrives at the intersection of education, compliance, analytics, and systems leadership. You will serve as the primary liaison between FCI-authorized schools, SIS vendors, and the Florida Department of Education, ensuring all state reporting is accurate, timely, and funding-ready. What You’ll Be Doing:</div><ul><li>Oversee the accuracy and integrity of student records across all FCI-authorized schools using FOCUS School Software.</li><li>Manage and coordinate all FLDOE state reporting requirements, including FTE Surveys 1–5, accountability reports, and Date Certain submissions.</li><li>Run state validation processes, identify data errors, and ensure timely corrections.</li><li>Serve as the primary SIS liaison between FCI, authorized schools, SIS vendors, and FLDOE.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with FERPA, FEFP, and state/federal reporting standards.</li><li>Configure SIS environments, manage user roles, and maintain system security.</li><li>Coordinate data uploads, transfers, and integrations between SIS and state systems.</li><li>Analyze enrollment, attendance, scheduling, and demographic data to support decision-making.</li><li>Generate and validate reports for leadership, auditors, and state agencies.</li><li>Provide schools with funding-impact analyses (enrollment, recalibration, missing data).</li><li>Develop and maintain SIS documentation, guidelines, and training resources.</li><li>Deliver training and technical assistance to school-based staff statewide (remote and in-person).</li><li>Participate in system improvement initiatives, committees, and professional learning opportunities (FOCUS Users Conference, FAMIS, etc.).</li></ul><div> What You Need to Succeed: Education & Experience:</div><ul><li>Master’s degree in Information Systems, Education, Data Management, or related field and three (3) years of SIS/student data management experience OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field and seven (7) years of SIS/student data management experience. </li></ul><div>Required Knowledge & Skills:</div><ul><li>Advanced proficiency in FOCUS SIS.</li><li>Strong understanding of FLDOE reporting systems and timelines.</li><li>Knowledge of FEFP funding and FTE reporting methodologies.</li><li>Familiarity with K-12 curriculum structures affecting funding and reporting, including: Course codes and master scheduling, Graduation requirements, and ESE, ELL, reading intervention, CTE, and dual enrollment reporting.</li><li>Experience working in large, complex organizations.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to train and support staff remotely via phone and video conferencing.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.</li><li>Ability to present data and findings to leadership and senior stakeholders.</li><li>Willingness to travel across Miami Dade College campuses and occasionally throughout Florida. </li></ul><div>To be considered all applications must be submitted online by visiting www.mdc.edu/jobs.</div> About Miami Dade College:Miami Dade College is the largest, most diverse and highly regarded college in the nation. Responsibilities:
<ul><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse the Student Nurse Tech performs procedures, collects and documents demographic and patient data as follows:<ul><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">Vital signs, height, weight, demographic data</li><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">Assists patient with personal and daily care: bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">Intake & output, urinary catheter removal, finger stick blood sugars, routine urine and stool specimen collection, ostomy care, emptying drainage receptacles/tubes, bladder scan</li><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">Removes peripheral IV's as directed by RN (may not remove any IV's located in antecubital fossa or higher)</li><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">Delivers meals and snacks, feeds patients who are unable to feed themselves. Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications<ul><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">This position requires current enrollment in an accredited nursing school and must provide proof of completion of the first year/fundamentals of nursing, (or equivalent).
