Our 2025 Summer Intern program is a full-time (40 hours per week), paid internship. This internship is within the Medical Affairs function. The intern will have the opportunity to learn and gain hands on experience within Training & Operations space.ResponsibilitiesAdditional representative responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:  <ul><li>Train as a core member of the within Medical Affairs Training and Operations Team to assist in providing accurate, fair-balanced, evidence-based information to the internal MSL team </li><li>Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and build relationships across departments and functions (e.g., research, health economics and outcomes research, clinical drug development, marketing) </li><li>Train with cross-functional teams to assist with the execution of the strategic medical plans. </li><li>Gain insight into the various roles within Medical Affairs and other functional groups. </li><li>Support the medical team through various activities, training, and initiatives that are strategically aligned with medical priorities. </li><li>Improve written and verbal communication skills to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences. </li><li>In addition, the intern, in consultation with the internship supervisor, will develop and present one structured presentation relevant to internship activities. </li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Applicant must be enrolled in a U.S. accredited university for the semester before and immediately following the internship.</li><li>Applicant must be an undergraduate student focusing in a STEM discipline.  </li><li>Applicant must have completed at least 2 years within their undergraduate program</li><li>Appropriate STEM coursework required</li><li>Experience performing searches of medical and scientific literature</li><li>Excellent leadership, oral, and written communication skills, teamwork, and professionalism are required </li><li>Global mindset to thrive in a diverse work environment</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook</li></ul>Salary Range$23 - $24 an hourCompensation & BenefitsEligible for paid company holidays during the intern program.Additional InformationInsmed Incorporated is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. A microsurgeon is needed to support our growing need for complex reconstruction following Head & Neck, Breast, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Spine Surgery, Colorectal, and Surgical Oncology procedures. An interest in Gender Affirming surgery is preferable. All academic ranks are welcome to apply.
