Ability to compare rate, ratio and percentages and interpret basic graphs.</li></ul>Reasoning Skills – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems that involve concrete variables in standardized situations.<ul><li>Computer Skills – Intermediate experience with MS Office. OverviewThe Senior Staff Accountant is both an important and hands-on role that provides full accounting support to external and internal customers. Job Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports in accordance with US GAAP.<ul><li>Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. </li><li>Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory transactions, and production variances for aluminum casting and extrusion operations. </li><li>Maintain and reconcile inventory, raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods accounts. </li><li>Assist with standard costing, cost analysis, and inventory valuation. </li><li>Assist with year-end physical inventory counts and inventory reconciliation processes. </li><li>Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies. </li><li>Support external audits, tax filings, and internal control compliance. </li><li>Monitor capital expenditures and fixed asset accounting. </li><li>Collaborate with operations, purchasing, production, to ensure accurate financial data. </li><li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. </li><li>Review AP/AR transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment. </li><li>Help improve accounting procedures and reporting processes. </li><li>Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management. </li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. </li></ul>  Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting<ul><li>5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory accounting. </li><li>Experience with GP systems and Microsoft Excel. </li><li>Knowledge of US GAAP. </li><li>CPA or CMA preferred but not required. </li><li>Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy.</li></ul>
