JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Develop, present, and track technical training on assembly processes.</li><li>Develop technical-based curriculum and training materials in conjunction with assembly processes.</li><li>Design and build training aids to be used during training including but not limited to:</li><li>Navigation of Web Apps</li><li>EDL process</li><li>Use of drawings, BOM, and other assembly details</li><li>Details of Build Tickets and how they are applicable to assembly</li><li>How to read installation drawings</li><li>JDE production stock status</li><li>Kronos labor reporting</li><li>Check Sheet training</li><li>Hydraulic Schematic Training</li><li>Hose and wire routing standards (types of fittings; hydraulic hose cutting/crimping)</li><li>Electrical Schematic Training</li><li>Types of Electrical Connectors</li><li>Develop and complete, in collaboration with supervisors, monthly training to all assembly employees.</li><li>Interact with all groups within the Engineering, Service, Warranty, and Test departments to improve the quality and content of our information to employees.</li><li>Perform quality audits of units in process</li><li>Non-Conformance Focus in Assembly</li><li>5-phase corrective actions</li><li>Develop task specific training instructions</li><li>Perform other duties, assignments, and special projects as assigned.</li></ul>EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:<ul><li>Understanding of assembly processes is required.</li><li>Experience in troubleshooting heavy equipment is preferred.</li><li>Experience with electrical and hydraulics is required.</li><li>Experience with training is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of Vactor products is preferred.</li><li>Ability to operate Microsoft Office Products to create training documents.</li><li>Ability to seek out knowledge as needed.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong Problem Solving and Critical thinking skills</li><li>Must be flexible to meet with all 3 shifts as needed.</li></ul>Salary Range - $75k-90kBenefits of Employment;In addition to excellent career growth opportunities, Federal Signal Corporation offers a wide array of benefits including: annual bonus potential, insurance (life, medical, dental, vision), paid holidays, paid vacation, 401(k) with matching contributions and tuition reimbursement.
