The Staff Development and Infection Control Nurse (LPN, RN) is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) by conducting in-service training classes that provide instructions on infection control procedures to ensure a well-educated nursing service department. Complete review of fridge temps, FirstDose room temps BID, completion of crash cart audits, Infection Control rounding, fall intervention check, med carts, HIPPA violations, TSS, med rooms.
