Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; required travel experience; Trauma Level II experience; proficiency with vasoactive medication and sedation titration, insulin drips, tracheostomy and ventilator care, arterial lines, external pacemakers, chest tubes, cardiac arrhythmias, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-acuity step-down care. Clinical responsibilities include cardiac telemetry, management of dysrhythmias, noninvasive airway support, ventilator troubleshooting, central and peripheral line care, blood product administration, wound care, thrombolytic agents, procedural sedation monitoring, and post-cardiac and neurosurgical care.
