Job Description:** - Location: Asheville, NC - Unit Name: CICU - Shifts: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM - Number of Beds: 16 **Unit Specifics:** - **Scrub Colors:** All Navy or Navy and White - **Patient Ratios:** 2:1 or 1:1 (occasionally 3:1 dependent on acuity) - **Staffing:** RNs only (unit secretaries and techs not available) - **Equipment:** Ventilators, Telemetry, Baxter IV Pumps, IABP, CRRT, Impella, Hypothermia equipment - **Documentation System:** Cerner - **Scheduling:** 36 hours/week, alternating weekends, 12-hour shifts - **Floating Policy:** Travelers float to all areas **Required Skills:** - Titration of Vesicant Medications - Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics - Experience with Ventilators and Trachs - Telemetry Interpretation - Understanding of Hemodynamics, PA Catheter setup, and interpretation - Transvenous Pacing and Cardioversion - Familiarity with TEE, Chest Tube Insertions, and Maintenance **Advanced Skills Desired:** - IABP, Impella, CRRT **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Cardioversion - Central Line Insertion - EGD - Bronchoscopy - Chest Tube Insertions - Pericardiocentesis - Thoracentesis **Dress Code:** - No pullovers or hoodies - No green scrubs except when the uniform is soiled at work - Must adhere to designated uniform colors **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
