For this position, specialized experience is experience assisting with laboratory, field, or greenhouse research activities by collecting samples, operating scientific equipment, and following established procedures; maintaining accurate records of research data and using computer software to organize, summarize, or report results; preparing laboratory materials, performing plant disease inoculations, conducting disease screenings in field or greenhouse settings, maintaining equipment, and following safety procedures when handling biological or chemical materials. Surplus or displaced employees eligible for CTAP, RPL, or ICTAP priority must provide: proof of eligibility (RIF separation notice, notice of proposed removal for declining a transfer of function or directed reassignment to another commuting area, notice of disability annuity termination), SF-50 documenting separation (as applicable), current performance appraisal with rating of at least "Fully Successful" or equivalent, and your most recent SF-50 noting position, grade level, and duty location with your application per 5 CFR 330.
