The Account Executive, under the supervision of the Sales Manager and the Director of Sales, acts as an Account executive for Mount Carmel Hospice and referral sources such as discharge planners in acute care, skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation settings, as well as independent living, personal care and assisted living facilities, CCRCs and physician practices. The Account Executive also works closely with the referral source, patients and their families to outline our services and gather the necessary information for a safe transition to home; therefore, strong communication and relationship development skills are a must.
The core functions of this role are: activating and qualifying partner-driven referrals through initial client engagement, collaborating with in-territory sales teams to transition and close opportunities, and enhancing partner relationships to increase referral volume and quality over time. In addition to the listed daily responsibilities above, the Strategic Account Executive may have the opportunity to attend meetings and collaborate with outside sales executives to formulate strategy and prepare in-person presentations.
