This position requires qualified applicants to possess one of the following: A Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, a Land Use-related field, Legal Studies, or a closely related field; minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in permitting projects pursuant to the Florida Building Code, including three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in permitting, planning, zoning, and/or development services in Palm Beach County, code compliance, or case management, OR. Preferred qualifications include: Experience in public administration or regulatory operations, or development services, which includes experience providing direct, individualized guidance to customers, Experience compiling and preparing reports, tracking case progress, and documenting outcomes, Experience conducting records research and reviewing applicable regulatory or procedural requirements, Experience facilitating meetings and coordinating with multiple departments, agencies, or stakeholders, and.
