The Director will directly oversee the Compliance Manager and Compliance Department staff, provide leadership and accountability for department performance, partner closely with Operations and ownership, oversee regulatory and agency coordination, monitor audits and compliance deadlines, review rent and utility allowance schedules, coordinate Section 504 and reasonable accommodation compliance matters, and ensure regulatory requirements and program updates are implemented consistently across the portfolio. Extensive knowledge of LIHTC, HUD/Section 8, Project-Based Voucher (PBV), HOME, Bonds, HCD, and other affordable housing programs, including file reviews, audits, regulatory agreements, lease-ups, rent and income limits, and direct coordination with regulatory agencies and ownership groups.
