The primary responsibility of this position is to execute as the North American initial machine set-up personnel (SV), increase Operation Availability (OA) through continuous improvement and problem-solving technical issues. This role will also support the Battery department's objective to execute Capital Projects from planning thru Start of Production (SOP) by modifying machine function and design.
Develop specifications and bid proposals while exercising independent judgement and maintaining communication with vendors and contractors.
p>• Oversee overall project management, including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control • Coordinate with leadership, job crews, and subcontractors to execute work, resolve issues, and manage change orders • Maintain jobsite documentation, including daily logs, inventories, reports, permits, timesheets, and material records • Ensure safety and compliance by conducting daily safety meetings, monitoring site conditions, and reporting accidents • Support operational needs as required, including physical tasks, work order issuance, and billing reviews • Provide proactive updates on project progress, budget, gross profit margin, and schedule risks. Your role goes beyond managing tasks; youll actively monitor project budgets, profit margins, and schedules, making real-time decisions to keep everything on target.
Working as an integral part of the Landmark Builders preconstruction team, this Estimator will provide estimating services across all market segments and all delivery methods, including design-build, construction manager, design-bid-build, negotiated, guaranteed maximum price, and lump sum commercial construction projects. Prequalify new subcontractors as required to provide good sub-coverage and quality estimates for regional (out-of-town) projects.
