In this role, the APP will provide comprehensive care for patients with neurosurgical conditions of the brain and spine, including traumatic brain and spinal cord injury, intracranial hemorrhage, hydrocephalus, brain tumors, degenerative spine disease, neurovascular conditions such as brain aneurysms, and functional neurosurgical conditions such as movement disorders and epilepsy, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. Funded by $30 million in community donations, the Institute brings together more than 60 physicians and 30 advanced practice providers across stroke and neurovascular care, epilepsy, neuro-oncology, traumatic brain and spine injury, movement disorders, and neuromuscular disease.
