Reports riots, fights, disorders, or any unusual activities to the appropriate post or supervisor as appropriate, detailing location, type of incident, number of detainees/offenders/persons involved, and request for assistance, if needed, pursuant to agency policies; follows established procedures and/or verbal instructions from authorized superiors when responding to the situation as appropriate; submits a detailed accurate report of the incident pursuant to agency policy. Removes and returns detainee from and to cell while maintaining control of the detainee and observing officer safety at all times consistent with agency policies; escorts visitors, vendors, other personnel on official business to their destination, ensuring the safety and security of the escortees pursuant to agency policy; searches visitors as required, locating, seizing, and reporting any found contraband and/or weapons.
