Under general supervision, the Instructional Designer designs and delivers faculty development programming, provides instructional design consultation, researches emerging educational technologies, and supports campus initiatives that enhance teaching, learning, and faculty success through collaborative, data-informed, and equity-minded practices. Consults, trains, and assists faculty using evidence-based strategies (e.g., culturally responsive pedagogy, learner-centered teaching) and appropriate technology-enriched practices to develop effective learning experiences for students, especially students of color, first-generation students, students with disabilities, and neurodivergent students.
