QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred Excellent driving record; five (5) year Driver's Abstract required School transportation experience Knowledge of New Jersey laws and regulations related to pupil transportation and school bus operations Experience with personnel supervision, route scheduling, fleet maintenance, and cost containment Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Availability for on-site work, on-call responsibilities, and periodic overtime Successful completion of criminal history background check Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status New Jersey residency or agreement to obtain residency within one year of employment Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptableCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Salary Range $60,000 - $70,000 12-month position, for the 26-27 school year. This position ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation of students and supervises transportation personnel, routing, and fleet maintenance.
