Qualifications 4-6 years of relevant experience in nonprofit operations and/or program execution and event production preferredProven experience in managing office technology systems (e.g., computers (including Macs), printers, monitors, docking stations, TVs, Internet equipment (both wired and wireless), phones, etc.)Strong, proactive team playerUnderstanding of poverty-related issues and a commitment to creating educational and developmental opportunities for underserved youth in outside of school contextsStrong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and communicate professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as external stakeholders (youth, donors, volunteers)Proven event production and project management skills to deliver quality results in a timely manner, including managing expenses for events to stay within budgetProven capacity to apply independent judgment in planning, prioritizing, and organizing multiple tasks in a diversified workloadSuperb administrative skills, including use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to lift 25 pounds and climb a ladderFlexibility in schedule; ability to work on evenings and SaturdaysBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred . Assist the production of special events/activities, including annual benefits, Afterschool Development Working Group (ADWG) Roundtable, & city-wide community outreach events for ASP of NJ.Support the supervision and day-to-day guidance of college student interns, supporting their professional development and coordination on assigned projects.
