The role serves two equally important goals: reaching survivors directly, especially youth who are being trafficked or who have experienced trafficking, with trusted information, accessible resources, and messaging that affirms their dignity and autonomy; and advancing narratives on human trafficking that shift discourse away from criminalization and toward trauma-informed, survivor-led approaches. Develop and maintain a community engagement policy governing how Cast responds to comments, DMs, and mentions across platforms, including protocols for sensitive topics, survivor disclosures, and misinformation, and identifying predatory engagement targeting youth; regularly brief the Youth Program Lead on relevant trends, questions, and safety concerns surfaced through comments and DMs.
